We ran a job challenge earlier this year from March to June and got 10+ students placed in various companies as interns and full-time employees. Having seen the results, we believe this can help a lot more people and hence, we are launching a bigger version. As developers, we understand the challenges in the current hiring system and are working towards improving it.
The job challenge is open for everyone. If you’re a student or a recent graduate looking for a job, you’re welcome to join the challenge. Working professionals looking for a switch can participate as well.
A project counts if the source code is made available in a public git repository. It should preferably be hosted publicly using Netlify, Vercel, Heroku, etc.
Blog posts should be available publicly on any medium of your choice (Medium, dev.to, Hashnode, etc.). Aim for a 5 min read.
Upload videos to YouTube. Length should be less than 5 minutes. Note that although videos are not mandatory to participate in the challenge, they'll definitely increase your chances of getting hired!
You can work on any web stack. Most of our hiring partners have openings for React, Vue, and Angular so using these would increase your chances of getting hired. We are currently NOT accepting projects in other domains like data science (ML/AI), mobile dev (Android/iOS), etc.
Share a technical challenge you faced while building your projects along with how you solved it or tell your project’s journey with a demo - the possibilities are endless.
No, it depends on supply-demand. The earlier you apply, the better your chances are of getting one.
